Schedule a Private MicroFarm Tour
What is a Micro Fiber Farm anyway?
Do you know what a Micro Farm is? Have you ever wanted to visit a Micro Fiber Farm? We are a small-scale farm where everyone has a job to do. The alpaca and rabbits provide fiber and wool to be spun into yarn. They also provide cold fertilizer (poop) for the garden. The garden provides food for the humans (us) and the animals. We have a working compost system that digests all the waste the farm produces from our animals as well as brown (leaves, plants, etc.) and green (kitchen scraps, coffee grounds, tea bags, etc.) matter converting it into garden soil for the following year.
Our scheduled tours run from May to August each summer. They are fun and educational for all ages and include many hands-on activities in the garden as well as fiber art related. Private tours are available year round by appointment. If you have a group over 10 or would like a private tour, please email coleen@etrfarm.org.
After submitting the requested information for a scheduled tour, you will receive a basic confirmation email. Within 24 hours you will receive another email from coleen@etrfarm.org with detailed information about your tour including directions. Please check your junk mail if you don’t see it.
